Before You Start – Items Required to Use the System

To ensure a successful remote exam, verify that your workstation meets the following hardware and software requirements:

  • Connectivity: Computer, Laptop, or Mobile Device with an internet connection.
    • Bandwidth: Minimum 2 Mbps upload/download.
    • Recommendation: A wired (Ethernet) connection is highly recommended for stability.
  • Web Browser: Google Chrome is required, running on Windows (Windows 7 and up) or macOS.
  • Audio Hardware:
    • Integrated camera and internal microphone (or external ports).
    • Headphones: Required for listening to stethoscope exams.
      • Specifications: Impedance (16–32 ohm), Frequency Response (20–10,000Hz), Plug: 3.5 mm stereo.
      • Note: Perform the "Headphones Test" available after login to verify audio quality.
  • Visual Hardware:
    • Integrated webcam or external USB camera.
    • Monitor Requirements: Minimum resolution of 1280x1024 or 1366x768; Contrast ratio 1:500.

Access & Environment

  • Registration: You must be registered by a system administrator to receive a username and password for the Clinician App.
  • Environment: Work in a quiet, private location. This is critical for hearing clear auscultations and ensuring the patient can hear your instructions clearly.
