Symptom: During an exam, the Tyto Device is stuck and does not respond when the provider is trying to perform an exam. The touchscreen is also unresponsive.

Possible Cause: The software running on the Tyto Device is stuck.

Suggested Solution: Hard Restart

  1. Force Shutdown: Press and hold the power button on the Tyto Device for 10-15 seconds until the screen turns off.
  2. Power On: Once the device is completely off, turn it back on by giving the power button a short press.

Note: Performing a hard restart will disconnect any active virtual visit. You may need to re-enter the waiting room once the device reboots.
